Okay, I have a glee for the day that made me rethink the last SPN episode that I watched (Sex & Violence).

I've found that I pretty much (usually) agree what this user kroki_refur says whenever she post an episode review plus she's so freaking hilarious to read even though sometimes it's difficult to decipher the nickname she assigns to the characters.

So the SPN glee for the day -this. I know, it's been like a week since the episode aired but I read this today, so there.... *nods decisively*

It's kinda silly if I think about it so I won't. But I found out through some comments done in supportsamruby  that JP and GC might be dating... possibly...most likely and for an inexplicable reason that made me happy. *shrugs*

Anyhoo - it's kinda related to SPN and kinda not but I'll take this as my glee for the day.

Yesterday as we were leaving work, my sister and I were told we're gonna have one mother load of a storm. It was ‘prognosed’ (is that even a word?) to happen during night which brings some concern for us for the sole reason that whenever the weather acts funky the gate malfunctions and if that happens we can't get our car out and drive to work. (Happened the other day - had to bug pop at 4.30 am to get us to work.)

I woke up and I went - huh? Where’s the freaking storm, the one that's going to turn the streets into mini rivers and the lightning turn the night into day (which happened the other day) and the winds that was going to rock the car?

Now don't get me wrong, I don't particular care for storms, especially the ones where you can see Tor practically beating against the giants in heaven - though I do love the wind - but I care even less for the suffocating, hold-your-breath kind of feeling that always exist before one breaks out.

Anyhoo - it's 7.18 am and the sun is rising over a gray morning that looks to be chilly as all hell but is anything but.

The down side of a prognostic made so out of wake... you just know it's gonna hit you when you least expect it.

*rolls eyes*

On another Note: it’s Friday, which means for me SPN day. Went to the comp as soon as I woke up and found to my everlasting glee the eppie 'Sex and Violence'. We (my sister and I) started to see it but had to stop 15 min into the Eppie or we’d be late for work (which believe it or not I was willing to be *face palm*)

Got to work and started watching it again, course had to stop like at the best part (Sam and Dean dishing it out) but I know that it’ll be there to when I can see it after work. *So that’ll be my glee for the day.*

Well, it’s Thursday and I’ve been tagged by autumn_lilacs  on EACH DAY FOR EIGHT DAYS post something that makes me happy and like her I’ll do it SPN related.

Got a few *glee*, it being Thursday one would think that’ll be for what’s going to air – you know what – but in my corner of the world if I want to see SPN on the TV it’ll be on Sundays at 7 pm and a few episodes late. So I’ll save that glee for tomorrow which is when I can see it (thank the beauty that is the world wide web). *Does a happy dance.*

So my Glee for the day? 
4 things:

#1 Got to read a wonderful fic that made my day (This Is About You, {G}, Sam, Castiel) I’m a Sam!girl so when I get to read something that is good and contains Sam – it’s guaranteed to put a grin on my face.

#2 (can one glee about stuff that you yourself create?) Anyhoo, wrote a 5000 words worth of a scene on one fic – my pitiful of an attempt to do a Big Bang without actually signing up and a 3000 on another monster project called PIECES.

#3 FAN ART!! Started a new one in Photoshop and that always makes me happy, especially when things seem to look like the way I want it to and since it’s Ruby that’s double glee.

#4 INTHE HUNT -  My sister was scrolling through her Friends page when she discovered a couple of hours ago now a post made by dodger_winslow  regarding a Supernatural essey book. That is definitely GLEE worthy - I give you three guesses of what I'm buying, and the two first don't count. *g*

SPN: Meme, My Ruby

It goes without saying that each and everyone have their own opinion and views of any given characters, no matter the fandom. Some might like a character and interpretate the actions of said character to their liking and views those action in a way that it conforms to the view they have of that character.

Not all agree, that being said it doesn’t negate what and how the other person view said character. The world would be a very boring place if everyone had the same opinion about everything.

So…

I thought I’d share MY opinion of a rather controversial character in the SPN verse, which would be Ruby. Remember, this is how I view her and will probably (most likely) diverge from how you view her.

I am actually one of those that LIKE the new incarnation of the bizarre demon and how Genevieve Cortese interpretates her. Which is, if I think about it, rather strange as when I heard that Kate Cassidy wouldn’t be back for the role I was rather bummed and more then willing to not warm up to Cortese once she showed up. That has changed.

So…

Who/How is my Ruby?
My Ruby lived in the time of the Bubonic plague or as it was also called “The Black Death”, one of the nastiest plagues ever. The disease truly became pandemic in 1328 - during which a third of the world population died. However it didn’t reach the European mainland until the end of 1346.

Quote: “You were human once?“
“Yeah, back when the plague was big.”

And since I tend to imagine Ruby originating from what is today France (and on few occasion further northeast) I would place her so that she would be born in the late 1320’s and early 1330’s. In this way she would have lived in a world that had yet to fully understand the catastrophe that was to come. Had she been born during the spread of the plague she wouldn’t have lived long enough to sell her soul as people died at more then 7500 a day.

Keeping that in mind she’s been dead for approximate six hundred and something Earth years (depending on when I want her to be born) and approximate 80.600 Hell years give a take a couple of decades. (And she still have part of her humanity?! Yeash, no wonder she wishes that she’d be more like the others.)

My Ruby truly wants to end Lilith and stop Lucifer and believes Sam is the only one that can do it.

My Ruby truly cares for Sam. ß Samby is my pairing of choice in SPN.

My Ruby when she was human was not named Ruby.

My Ruby suffered a great loss that put her on the path to become a demon.

And she might and might not have more things in common with Dean then they both would like.

My Ruby, in her mortal life was a brunette. If she had more of the Mediterranean trait then that of the Germanic… well it’s possible.

My Ruby, wishes she could remember more of who she used to be but also remember more of her mortal life then she lets on. She sometimes wishes she didn’t.

If she could she would live off of fries.

She created the Demon killing knife (i.e considering she helped turn the useless chunk of crap that was the Colt back into a Demon killing gun it isn’t that big of a stretch to imagine she made the knife. )

She was a very accomplish viccan/witch.

What with the new episode airing today I thought I’d make a Meme of the season so far... This will be my first one.

My Favorite Season Is: I like all of them for different reasons, even season three. My favorite one will have to be season 1 because that's when we are first introduced to this verse. Plus, we have PAPA Winchecter.

My Favorite Episode Is/Episodes Are: I got several. The ones I can think of right now can be found in season 1; the Pilot, Faith and Devil's Trap. From season 2; What Is And What Should Never Be, Born Under A Bad Sign (one word, Evil!Sam. ‘though technically it wasn't him.) … and I’ll have to get back to you on that for the rest, I know that the season over all was great. Season three has most of my favorites stand alone episodes, like - Mystery Spot (My all time Fav! and the episode that turned me completely into a Sam!girl.) Season 4 is fast becoming my favorite as well due to the Sam/Ruby storyline. I love "It's the great pumpkin, Sam Winchester", "I know what you did last summer" and "Heaven and Hell."

I Cry Every Time: Sam does. There something so heartbreakingly sad seeing that face all sorrowful and broken.

The Religious Angle In Season 4: I was at first wary about the whole thing but it has by now grown on me and now I even like it. It's a somewhat natural progression of the series mythology, I think. The only thing that seriously bugged me with the beginning of season 4 was the lack of Sam. But then again I'm partial to him.

The "Special Children" Storyline: I think they could have done more with it and I think they left a lot of loose ends with that storyline.

Ruby: They way she has been set up in season 4 is why I started to really like her. She was too much of a hard ass in season three and the way they introduced her made her look a little bit like a Mary Sue. I was at first reluctant to the change when Genevieve Cortese started playing her, but I can honestly say now that I'm glad they made the change as I like her take on the character. I am a Sam/Ruby supporter which means that anything that implies that Ruby is indeed a redeemed demon and is there to help Sam, and dare I even say it - love him, is good in my book. I really hope they don't kill that relationship off.

Bela: Bela is someone that while she was on the show annoyed me and pissed me off at times due to how she treated the boys, but she got my sympathy when I found out about her past. I trully felt sorry for her.

Lilith: Well, she has my interest. I can't wait to see where the show takes her. I'm ambiguous in that I both like and dislike the fact that they are keeping her actions off screen, but at the same time I feel that since she is suppose to be one of the big bad there's little rep between the boys and her. And really, what is her stance on Sam?

The Episode(s) that Really Creeped Me Out: None really, though Bugs did kind if squeaked me.

My Theory On How The Show Will End: I have no clue and to be honest I rather not speculate and take the show as it comes. One way or another I'll either be so off the mark that it'll annoy me or I'll be hitting it on the nail and it'll annoy me.
